Cate Hennessey’s work has appeared in The Gettysburg Review, Chester County Dwell, and Polish American Journal. Her essay, “Shoveling Snow,” was selected as an honorable mention in Best American Essays 2010, edited by Christopher Hitchens and Robert Atwan. She has also been a finalist for Bellingham Review’s Annie Dillard Award in Creative Nonfiction. Cate earned an MFA from the University of Pittsburgh; now she teaches writing and literature at Cecil College and lives in southeastern Pennsylvania.
